More than halfway through...

So, I've reached the point here where I've got about 4 months left as an English Language and Culture Assistant in El Provencio, Spain, living in Villarrobledo.  I have mixed feelings about it, because while I LOVE living in Spain, I know that I will be ready to go home when then time comes.  I am getting excited about continuing my career and education in Social Work and about being with my family and friends again.  Don't get me wrong, I love being here, but, you know, there really is no place like home :).

My friends here have been making this experience so wonderful, though!  Last weekend we had a birthday party in el campo for Silvia, Ana Rosa, Juanmi, Mariajo, and me!  It was great.  We went to our friend Jose's house in the countryside and had a lot of meat for lunch and had an awesome time laughing and playing games.

It was a great day, and after resting for a couple of hours, we all went to the local and had a great birthday celebrating night!

Tomorrow morning I am going to my extra job in San Clemente!  It is a cute town that is about 20 minutes from Villarrobledo, full of history, cobblestone roads...it's just really nice!  I was there last week and took some pretty pictures.  Although I love Villa, I can't deny that San Clemente is a little more beautiful.

Anyway, I am going there tomorrow to teach an adult class.  It usually goes pretty well, and the people are very nice!  We have a nice time in class.

I guess that is about it for now.  I just got finished watching GLEE with my friends Anna and Dan.  I had never really watched it before, but we have been watching it weekly, it's kinda fun!  I am also getting more into the show "How I Met Your Mother" and "Two and a Half Men", because they are on here a lot in Spain, because I can watch them in English, and because they are dang funny!  Particularly "How I Met Your Mother".  I am thinking I'll have to do some catch up when I get back to the states.

Anyway, hope you all have a lovely night!

Besos,
M
